MIAA Annual General Meeting 2008

I am delighted to send warm greetings to the many thousands of Malaysians who
have studied in Ireland and who are eligible to be part of the newly-formed Malaysian
Irish Alumni Association.
Ireland has a rich tradition in education and learning, stretching back more than
1,000 years. In recent decades, Ireland has become a leading destination for those
seeking to study in a world-class, English-medium education system.

The Malaysian Irish Alumni Association has reached a new milestone in establishing
a Website for the Malaysian graduates from Ireland. There are a few thousand graduates
in the whole country, and the website is a way for us to keep in touch and perhaps
to form a network among the graduates so that we can tap on the resources in whatever fields.
